Sharing meetings - Livorno - 9, 10 march 2015

The EHPPC Med (Enhancing Horticultural Perishable Products Circulation among the Mediterranean territories) is a project supported by ENPI – CBC Med Programme (European Neighbourhood and Partnership Instrument – Cross Border Cooperation in Mediterranean See Basin Programme) contributes to improve conditions and modalities of agricultural goods circulation and enhancing dialogue  among the Mediterranean territories facilitating technical and administrative procedures and operation for Horticultural Perishable Products (HPPs) circulation between Lebanon, Jordan and Italy through adopting harmonized and shared procedures and implementing a TF e-platform (Trade Facilitation e-platform).

Using this e-platform the project partners seek to encourage harmonized procedures that make it easy for producers and exporters to quickly obtain and transmit the documentation necessary for shipping fresh produce.

The project partners give training to small and medium sized enterprises (7 training courses) as a way to share information about the project’s TF e-platform, as well as other producers for streamlining the export of produce (3 local workshops).
